Mercedes Benz in India: A Journey towards Constant Success
With the
brand motto “Restless for tomorrow”, Mercedes Benz in India is all geared up to
work with the new normal rules- without compromising on its promise to ensure
the perfect combination of elegance and state-of-the-art technology in all its
car series.
As customers
are continuously pushing the boundaries and challenging their own accomplished
successes, Mercedes Benz India has developed a spirit of restlessness for them as
they join them in their journey. They are inspired by this spirit of their
customers and try to identify themselves with this state of mind: ‘Restless
for Tomorrow’- that is going to be the new mantra for the brand for the
year 2020.
The Journey So Far:
In the 15th
Auto Expo 2020, Mercedes Benz India reiterated its commitment to the Indian
customer- promising to continue its leadership and wining brand position in the
Indian luxury car market. So far, it has launched the fastest series production
four door coupe and the AMG GT 63S 4MATIC 4 Door Coupe- the fastest AMG ever-
in the Indian market. Mercedes-Benz India also launched the highly anticipated AMG
A35 4M Limousine and took the model to a whole new level by revolutionizing
the sedan segment with a new feel of spaciousness. The A-Class Limousine is
going to play a good role in strengthening the carmaker’s portfolio and will also
be one of the key products to be introduced in India in 2020. Apart from that,
they are also planning to introduce the E-class facelift soon by the end of
this year. It expects the new launches to appeal to a younger customer base
that is looking for style and comfort with next generation infotainment systems
and telematics. The aim of such upgrades is to offer a unique driving
experience with high level of performance and plenty of space for passengers
and luggage.
The German
carmaker sees Mercedes Benz in India to upscale as it transforms to a high-priority
market. It has introduced a wide range of exciting products and services that
has brought luxury and comfort to people’s lifestyles. In fact, Mercedes Benz
India was the first brand to launch the BS6-compliant product, scraping off its
old stock of BS4 vehicles, way before the mandated deadline of April 1,2020.
Although
the performance-car segment of the Indian automotive market is still a niche, the
AMG series by Mercedes India is one of the prominent names in the domain. Also,
Mercedes India has six exclusive AMG Performance Offices in the country in
order to create an experience centre for its AMG division. Apart from the AMG
GT 63 S showcased at the Mercedes-Benz pavilion at Auto Expo 2020, there was also
the A-Class sedan, GLA, GLC, GLE, AMG A 35, etc., which shared space at the exhibition
in their latest avatars. The carmaker’s all-new electric EQC 400 4Matic also
stole the spotlight, in its Edition 1886 format. Basically, Mercedes-Benz
India’s exhibition was quite a spectacle people watched out for at Auto Expo
2020.
Mercedes Benz in India: Way Ahead
The Indian
market remains an important emerging field for Mercedes-Benz. The Three-Pointed
Star has, in fact, received an impeccable customer trust that has become the
hallmark of a fundamentally great brand. The customers are at the core of
everything they offer and everything they do. It is the brand’s endeavor to
offer their customers the latest products, services and technologies with the
best retail experience that customers could ever ask for. Mercedes-Benz India
aims to establish ‘Sustainable Luxury’ as the roadmap for the future in India
and the unveiling of the ‘EQ” brand is going to be an imperative pillar in that
roadmap.
